  • How to use excellent insecticide fluvulurea? The action principle and application method of fluvulurea
Fluvulurea is a benzoyl urea insecticide. It is an inhibitor of chitin synthesis, with high insecticidal and ovicidal activity, and the effect is rapid, especially suitable for the control of cotton bollworm. In addition, fluflurea is also widely used in cotton, potato and fruit trees to control a variety of coleoptera, diptera, homoptera insects, such as the control of jujube, apple, pear and other fruit trees, peach moth, leaf roller moth, moth, peach moth and other pests, as well as citrus leaf miner moth. Not effective against mites. In addition, the broad spectrum of fluzurea is strong, can control a variety of crops of a variety of pests, has important economic and social value. First, the mechanism of fluvulurea: The mechanism of fluzurea is mainly to inhibit the formation of chitosan, hinder the normal molting and metamorphosis process of pests, and also inhibit the feeding speed of pests. This inhibition causes the insect to fail to grow and develop normally and eventually die. Fluzurea is a benzoyl urea insecticide, a chitin synthesis inhibitor, with high insecticidal and ovicidal activity, can quickly knock down pests, and the vast majority of animals and humans are non-toxic, but also can be broken down by microorganisms. 2. Prevention and control objects of fluvulurea: It can control coleoptera, diptera, lepidoptera and homoptera pests on cotton and fruit trees, and has egg killing activity. Such as cabbage worm, cabbage moth, beet moth, cabbage moth, tobacco worm, cotton bollworm, golden grain moth, leaf miner moth, leaf roll moth, bridge worm, moth moth, maggot, thorn moth, caterpillar and so on. It is especially good for pests such as cotton bollworm, but ineffective for mites. For the control of cotton bollworm, red bollworm in the egg incubation period, before the young insects into the bud, the bell, with 5% cream 1500 ~ 2000 times liquid spray. 3. Applicable crops of fluvulurea: It is suitable for the following crops: rice, cotton, citrus, orange, apricot, apple, pear, peach, etc. 4. Characteristics of fluvulurea: 1, the knockout force is strong, the insecticidal effect is faster than other acylurea, has a high contact ovicidal activity, can be used alone or mixed. 2, the application period is not strict, can prevent and control pests that have developed resistance to organophosphorus and pyrethroids. It is a benzoyl urea insect growth regulator with high insecticidal activity, wide insecticidal spectrum, strong knockout force, quick effect and so on. Five, the use of fluvulurea: 1, the control of jujube tree, apple, pear and other fruit trees, golden grain moth, peach moth, leaf rolling moth, thorn moth, peach moth and other pests, can be in the egg hatching stage or young larval stage with 1000 to 2000 times 5% cream spray, the effect can be maintained for more than 20 days. 2, the control of citrus leaf miner moth, tick, psyllid, fly, whitefly, bud maggot, black-winged macrotermites can be used in the egg hatching stage with 1000 times 5% cream spray. 3, the control of cabbage pests (cotton bollworm, cabbage moth, beet moth, will moth) with 5% cream per mu, about 50-80 ml, uniform spray. For the control of cabbage bean borella, cabbage worm, American spot miner, cabbage moth, silver moth, tobacco worm, use 5% cream per mu, about 60-80 ml, evenly spray. 4, the control of tea tree pests, such as inchworm caterpillar black poison moth tea orange gall mite, with 5% cream per mu, about 60-80 ml, uniform spray. 5, control sesame pests, sesame moth, pod borer, beet moth, 5% cream per mu, about 25-30 ml, uniform spray. 6, prevention and control of forest pests: (1) prevention and control of forest pine caterpillar, with 5% butter per acre, about 50-75 ml, (2) Prevention and control of forest palm tail moth, with 5% butter per acre, about 50-75 ml, spray 6. Precautions for the use of fluvulurea: 1, the leaf-eating pests should be applied in the young larval stage. Moth pests should be applied at the peak of egg laying and egg hatching. The agent has no internal absorption and permeability, and the spray should be uniform and thorough. 2, can not be mixed with alkaline pesticides. But can be mixed with other insecticides, its control effect is better. Farmers need to pay attention to the fact that fluzurea can not be mixed with alkaline pesticides. However, it can be mixed with other pesticides, and its control effect is better, but it is highly toxic to fish and silkworms, and special care should be taken.

"China's biopesticide industry is entering a stage of rapid development, the industry has the foundation, the market has the prospect, the policy has the support, the above favorable factors will promote biopesticide enterprises to usher in good growth and improvement space." The 'spring' of the biopesticide industry is coming." China Pesticide Development and application Association president Zhou Puguo said. The market size is growing rapidly In recent years, China has vigorously promoted the green development of agriculture to speed up the transformation of agricultural modernization. As an important embodiment of the application of bio-high-tech in the agricultural field, bio-pesticides have become the highland of a new round of agricultural technology competition in China. According to the "China biopesticide Industry Report" (hereinafter referred to as the "Report") released by CIC on March 24, China's biopesticide market is showing a rapid growth trend. The market size in 2022 is 15.03 billion yuan and is expected to grow to 33.09 billion yuan by 2027, with a compound annual growth rate of 17.1%. The report shows that at present, biopesticides (including agricultural antibiotics) account for more than 10% of the total domestic pesticide market, and in the future, with the continuous promotion and implementation of high-quality green development of agriculture, China's biopesticide market will usher in a broad space for development. Biopesticides play a positive role in maintaining ecological balance and environment, helping to ensure food safety and quality, and promoting sustainable and low-carbon agricultural development. In Zhou Puguo's view, with the improvement of consumption level, people pay more attention to the "safety on the tip of the tongue", and the use of biopesticides is concerned; At the same time, China's agricultural production has gradually entered the branding stage, and relevant enterprises maintain a positive attitude towards the purchase of biopesticides, which has a significant boost to the development of the biopesticide market. In addition, the export of biopesticides shows a good trend, and the international market represented by the European Union has an increasing demand for biopesticides, which further drives the development of the industry. Wang Chongli, product manager of biologics at Syngenta (China) Investment Co., LTD., said: "The development level of China's biopesticide industry is not much different from that of foreign countries, almost at the same starting line. In recent years, biopesticide has become one of the focus of the world's major pesticide giants, mainly through the merger and acquisition of start-up enterprises to complete the layout, the future, driven by consumer demand, biopesticide industry will receive more and more attention, it will and chemical pesticides together to promote agricultural development." Zhao Xiaoma, partner of Burning Knowledge Consulting, also believes that the parallel development of biopesticides and chemical pesticides will be the general trend of the development of the pesticide industry in the future. "In recent years, the field of biopesticide investment and financing activities are relatively active, the next five years, biopesticide market is expected to maintain a double-digit annual growth rate, from the pesticide sector, biopesticide in the future to occupy about one-third to half of the market proportion will be an ideal state." Enterprise innovation is concerned At present, China's biopesticide industry is developing rapidly, the number of biopesticide product registration is increasing year by year, the products cover insecticides, fungicides and plant growth regulators and other categories, many industry companies have begun to layout biopesticide business. Public information shows that as of the end of the first half of 2023, Guoguang Shares have a total of 297 pesticide product registration certificates, of which 50 are biological pesticide registration certificates. The company said that the market potential of environmentally friendly pesticide products is great, and biopesticides have become one of the priorities of research and investment in the pesticide industry. Qianjiang Biochemical's biopesticide business covers the development, production and sales of plant growth regulators, insecticides, fungicides and other products. The company said that the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs proposed to continue to promote the reduction of pesticide efficiency, advocate the reduction of resource-saving and environmentally friendly ecological civilization and green production, which provides a good opportunity and huge space for the development of biopesticides. Chengdu New Chaoyang Crop Science Co., Ltd. is the first batch of specialized new "little giant" enterprises of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Ren Dan, deputy general manager of the company and president of the Institute of Biotechnology, said that the company's current research and development direction is mainly focused on soil remediation technology, biostimulants, natural product pesticides and other aspects. "Compared with chemical pesticides, the biopesticide industry is still a 'blue ocean market', and enterprises with resource advantages, innovation advantages and technical service advantages are expected to achieve leading development." Wang Chongli said that at present, in the biopesticide industry, the proportion of start-up enterprises is relatively large, and with the continuous development of the industry, competition will become increasingly fierce. "In the future, there are two types of biopesticide enterprises are expected to occupy an advantage in the competition, one is a company with strong financial strength, which is conducive to better promote product research and development and promotion; The other is the company with better products and services, whose service ability is stronger, who has a stronger competitive advantage." Zhou Puguo said that with the entry of giant enterprises and the gradual improvement of industry concentration, it is inevitable that the competition of biopesticide enterprises will become increasingly fierce. In summary, the future, including product, technology and management innovation, will become the "winning weapon" for biopesticide enterprises to achieve breakthroughs in competition.

  • Only ten points to note for export pesticide registration
China's policy of only export pesticide registration has been constantly updated in the past 10 years, and major pesticide companies have launched overseas sales of only export pesticides. This article summarizes some points for attention in pesticide registration.   (1) Highly toxic, highly toxic pesticides or products with "three causes" risk, do not agree to handle export registration only.   (2) Banned pesticides such as paraquat and methylsulfonon will no longer be registered for export only.   (3) Where the same or similar preparations have been registered, approval shall no longer be granted. If approved, the registration shall not be extended for more than one time.   (4) The new pesticide can be applied for at the same time as the preparation, or can apply for the original drug registration separately, and provide the pesticide standard product at the same time.   (5) Before the new pesticide obtains domestic registration or export registration only, the accepted application for the registration of new pesticide for export only shall continue to be approved and registered in accordance with the approval of new pesticide products for export only. After the new pesticide obtains domestic registration or export registration only, it will no longer accept the export registration only of pesticides containing the active ingredient of other enterprises; If it has been accepted, it will no longer be approved for export registration only.   (6) The content of products limited to export registration may not meet the requirement of the number of effective ingredients, but the content of products applied for should be consistent with the content required overseas.   (7) The test report and the qualification requirements of the test unit are consistent with the domestic registration requirements.   (8) For the registration of preparations, the source of the original drug shall be the original drug registered for domestic use, except for new pesticide preparations.   (9) If the pesticide production license is not within the validity period or does not include the production scope of the product, the registration shall not be approved for renewal.   (10) Overseas pesticide registration or import license documents are not valid or invalid, not approved to renew the registration.

  • Overview of pesticide suspensions
Most pesticide agents have low solubility in water, so they cannot be used directly. Because of the waxy layer on the surface of various crops, pests and weeds, the common solution is difficult to penetrate, and the vast majority of pesticide agents do not have adhesion properties, and the retention time after spraying is short, if the pesticide agents are used directly, not only can not play the efficacy, control diseases and pests, but also easy to pollute the environment and harm human health, so the original agents must be processed before they can be used. By adding a certain proportion of auxiliary agents to the pesticide and using a certain process to prepare and process into various forms of pesticide processing. The pesticide after processing has a specific form, composition and specification, which is called the pesticide dosage form. Through processing, the storage stability of pesticide preparations can be improved to prevent the decomposition or failure of active ingredients; After processing, some dosage forms can control the release rate of active ingredients, prolong the duration, reduce the application times and dosage; After processing and diluting the high concentration of the original drug, the suspension performance is enhanced, the effective components can be distributed evenly, and the dispersion effect can be achieved in application. The high concentration of the original drug is made into low-toxicity preparations, which can be used safely and reduce environmental pollution. It is beneficial for the effective ingredients to penetrate and be absorbed by the target organism to improve the drug effect. The development of modern agriculture not only requires the safe production of agricultural products, but also the construction of a good agricultural ecological environment. Therefore, the agricultural production in the 21st century has continuously strict requirements for the dosage form and use of pesticide varieties. Formulations such as wettable powders and cream-based products are being improved or replaced by water-based and environmentally friendly formulations. Suspension agent is the representative of water-based dosage form, which refers to the polyphase dispersion system formed by the solid drug uniformly dispersed in water with a certain dispersion degree. Its main components include pesticide agents, various fillers and media (water). The suspension agent has many advantages: compared with the wettable powder, in the process of processing and use by farmers, it avoids the pollution of the environment caused by dust flying and personal injury; However, emulsifiable oil requires a large amount of organic solvents, which not only pollutes the environment, but also wastes petroleum resources. The suspension agent has the advantages of wettable powder and emulsion at the same time, such as improving dilution suspension rate, convenient packaging, no dust, easy mixing, safety for production and use personnel, environmental friendliness and low production cost, and is significantly superior to traditional dosage forms such as wettable powder and emulsion in terms of comprehensive performance such as efficacy, safety and economy. In recent years, the number of pesticide environmental protection dosage forms registered in China continues to rise, from the number of registered dosage forms, the number of emulsion, wettable powder product registration is decreasing year by year, and the number of environmentally friendly product registration such as suspension agent and water dispersion granule is increasing. The suspended agent is the representative of water-based dosage form, and it is also a mainstream direction of future pesticide dosage form research and development. China began to develop pesticide suspensions in the 1970s, and the number of suspensions has been increasing. In recent years, China's suspension products are mainly developing in the direction of high content, and great breakthroughs have been made in pesticide active agents with low melting point and high water solubility, and it is difficult to prepare high concentration suspension agents, such as dimethylpentyl-imidacloprid suspension agent and dinotefuran suspension agent. However, compared with Germany, the United States and other developed countries, China's suspension agent in preparation research and development, auxiliary screening and innovation, equipment, processing technology and other aspects of the gap. Suspended agent is an unstable thermodynamic dispersion system, some suspended agent products will appear in the long-term storage process of water thickening, flocculation, stratification and precipitation, which seriously affects the shelf life and use of products. 1 Pesticide suspension processing technology There are two main methods to prepare the suspension agent: grinding wet crushing method and hot melt condensation method. The method commonly used in our country is grinding wet crushing method, the processing process is to mix the active ingredients of pesticides, various additives and water evenly, the emulsifier is pre-dispersed for about 30 min, and then crushed with a sand mill to a multiphase suspension system with a particle size of ≤5μm, of which more than 85% of the pesticide particles are greater than 1μm, and the coarse dispersion system accounts for a larger proportion. FIG. 1 Process flow chart of grinding wet crushing method The hot melt condensation method is to add the original drug solution in the molten state to a cooler liquid (water or oil), and form crystal particles under high-speed agitation, while adding a variety of surfactants with different functions to make a suspension agent. 2 Formulation and composition of pesticide suspension agent Active ingredients: During the processing, the grinding temperature is high, if the melting point of the original drug is low, it will melt, so the melting point of the original drug is required to be not less than 60 ° C, and the solubility in water is low, the nature is stable, and the light does not decompose. Wetting dispersant: the suspended agent is prone to water dissolution, thickening, caking and other problems in storage, so it is necessary to develop special and environmentally safe high-quality wetting dispersant. The main function of the wetting agent is to reduce the surface tension of the system and play a wetting role by forming nano-polymer microspheres. The water solubility of wetting agent is good if the balance value of hydrophilic oil is high. Low hydrophilic lipophilic balance value means high activity. Dispersant plays a good dispersion role through the steric hindrance formed by functional polymers. The dispersants used in the market have undergone the upgrading process, mainly polyacrylates, acrylate copolymers, linear macromolecular ionic or non-ionic compounds, hydrophobic copolymer dispersants, etc. Thickening agent: The density of lipid compounds in organic solvents is lower than that of water, and the density difference between them and the pesticides themselves is larger, which accelerates the settlement of particles to a certain extent. Adjusting the viscosity of the preparation can slow down the particle settlement, and the general dosage of thickener is 0.5% to 5%. Thickeners can be divided into inorganic, natural products, polyacrylates, cellulose derivatives, polyester derivatives, etc. The thickener achieves the thickening effect mainly through its own expansion, and the associated thickener forms a stable network structure mainly through the hydrogen bond between the thickener molecule and the dispersed phase. Antifreeze: The preparation will encounter low temperature during transportation and storage, so a small amount of antifreeze should be added in the preparation processing to enhance the freeze-thaw ability and low temperature stability, and the general dosage is 5%. Antifreeze should be selected with good performance, non-volatile, and difficult to decompose. Commonly used antifreeze agents for pesticide suspension are ethylene glycol, propylene glycol and propylene glycol. Defoamer: When processing the preparation, if an inappropriate surfactant is selected, the slurry will produce many bubbles, which will affect the viscosity change of the preparation, weight calculation, product quality and packaging. Defoamer can be selected with a small amount and good effect, and no adverse effects with other auxiliaries, silicone defoamer is a commonly used class of defoamer. Preservatives: Preservatives are substances that can prevent the growth of microorganisms, or prevent the growth of microorganisms that react to a prepared product. When the suspension agent is processed, a certain amount of preservatives can be added to avoid the decay and fermentation of the product in storage and transportation, and the commonly used preservatives are casson and so on. 3. Evaluation index of pesticide suspension quality control The quality control index of suspension agent mainly includes dispersibility, fluidity, particle size, suspension rate, viscosity, lasting foaming, pH value and storage stability. Dispersity of pesticide refers to the ability of the original drug particles to disperse into fine individual particles suspended in water. If the original drug particles are too large, it is easy to poly settling phenomenon. Adding dispersant can solve the problem of particle settling well. Fluidity can reflect the quality of the dumping of the preparation, if the fluidity is good, the user is easy to pour the sample out of the packaging bottle, reduce waste and save the preparation. Particle size, in the process of suspension processing, processing time mostly depends on the particle size and its distribution, China's suspension particle size is generally controlled within 5μm, usually using laser particle size analyzer to determine the D90 of the sample. In order to enhance the stability of the suspension agent and reduce the Austenite ripening, the particle size range should be kept small during the processing of the suspension agent. As an important evaluation index of suspension agent, the suspension rate can reflect the dispersion suspension time of the original drug particles in the suspension. Generally, the product has good stability and higher efficacy, the better the suspension rate. The viscosity of the suspension agent is moderate, and the storage stability is good. If the viscosity is large and the fluidity of the agent is poor, it will bring inconvenience both in the processing process and in the later sample measurement and use. By measuring the amount of bubbles in the product and selecting the appropriate type and dosage of defoamer, the adverse effects of foam on the product can be reduced. The pH value will affect the particle size of the preparation, so the pH value should be controlled within a certain range to reduce the impact on the particle size distribution. Storage stability refers to the change of physical and chemical properties of the suspended agent after storage for a period of time. The method of accelerated experiment is generally adopted, that is, heat storage at (54±2) ℃ for 14 days and cold storage at (0±2) ℃ for 7 days, to determine whether the deposition, water evolution, particle size, etc., meet the standards. But accelerated storage does not mean normal temperature storage. • Why are pesticide compounding becoming more and more popular? What advantages does it have over a single dose?
World Agrochemical Network reported: In the past two years, the trend of pesticide compounding to become the mainstream of the market has become increasingly obvious. Generally speaking, the combination of pesticides can not only effectively delay the generation and development of resistance to prothiobacillazole, but also effectively produce synergistic effects, thus extending the life cycle of the product. A single pesticide refers to a single active ingredient of a pesticide, while a compound refers to a preparation made by mixing two or more pesticides of different component types in a pesticide. So compared to a single dose, what are the advantages of pesticide compounding? Why can it make pesticide manufacturers so fond of development and production? Advantage 1: The compound agent can significantly increase its control effect compared with a single agent There are many ingredients of pesticides, but not every ingredient can be mixed. In addition, different from the two components of pesticides that farmers mix daily, when the two components of pesticides are mixed, the biggest difficulty is how to determine the ratio between the two pesticides, because the different ratio, the final control effect will also be very different ", which involves the professional term - cotoxicity coefficient. If two different pesticides are mixed together, and then through a series of toxicity mixing tests, if the final data obtained, the cotoxicity coefficient value between them is greater than 100, it means that the combination of these two pesticides has a synergistic effect; If it is equal to 100, it means that the mixture of these two pesticides has no synergistic effect, only the addition of cooperation; If it is less than 100, it means that there will be antagonistic and reducing effects between them, which means that the two compounds should not be mixed. Advantage 2: The control spectrum of compound agent is wider than that of single agent Taking avermectin as an example, it can prevent adult mites and mites of starscream, but it has no effect on the egg mass of starscream, then if combined with ethylacazole or spirodex, it can achieve effective on all forms of starscream, so that adult insects and egg mass control together. Advantage 3: The compound is less prone to drug resistance than a single agent, and the advantages of the two ingredients can be complementary Similarly, taking the common azole and pentazolol as an example, pyrazolium is a protective fungicide, while pentazolol has a good inhalation therapy. The combination of these two components can make the agent have both protective and therapeutic effects. In this way, whether it is used before or after the onset of crop disease, it has a good control effect. Another example is the azole • Desenine, pyrazole ether ester has a good absorption, but the disadvantage is that the application point is single, repeated use is easy to produce resistance; The Dyson connection has only a touch effect and no endogenicity, but it has the advantage that it is not easy to produce resistance. As a result, as long as the pyrazolesterin and deisen are combined, the advantages of the two components can be complementary, so that the compound drug has internal absorption, but not easy to produce resistance. Advantage 4: The use cost of the compound is lower than that of the two single-dose bucket mixes For example, the same abamectin and acetozole, the use cost of 400-600 pounds of water of the manufacturer is mostly 25-30 yuan (the price is only for reference); And we bought two kinds of abamectin and acetozole single agent for bucket mixing, 400-600 pounds of water cost between 30-35 yuan. This is because the compound can save a series of costs such as empty bottles, labels, additives, carton packaging and so on. Therefore, the production cost of the manufacturer is lower, and the price is naturally cheaper. Advantage 5: The amount of compound is more economical than that of single agent, which is conducive to realizing the policy of pesticide reduction and efficiency implemented by the state and is more environmentally friendly Then, also taking the azole and pentazolol mentioned above as an example, the use times of 25% pyrazolol single dose on citrus is generally 2000 times, while 43% of pentazolol single dose is 2000 ~ 3000 times, but now we mix 10% pyrazolol and 20% of pentazolol, Its use multiple can also reach 2000 to 3000 times, so that compared with their two respective single-dose barrels, the amount is significantly reduced.

  • Pesticidal herbicides fall the most, when will the pesticide price war stop?
Price war is a commonly used technique in business wars. As long as there is a market, there will be price wars, and price wars are also a way to distinguish competitors. Price war is a big knife, master well, will be invincible; If you don't, you hurt yourself. The trend of fast moving consumer goods hard discount swept the industry, affecting every platform, supermarkets, businesses or active or passive to meet, but also to the dull offline retail industry has brought a bright color. Sometimes the price war is high and straightforward, directly pulling the price from the high to the cost line, in order to achieve the purpose of occupying the market in the short term. Sometimes the price war is grass snake gray line, volts thousands of miles, we can see is the price war, can not see is the potential layout of the enterprise. The purpose of participating in the price war is not the same, so each enterprise's strategy is also different. Perhaps this is that some enterprises will be considered to destroy the price system of the industry, and some enterprises will be praised as the king of cost performance; Some companies can only be disrupters, and some companies are the reason why they are pioneers. In recent years, the concentration of the agricultural materials market is improving, and the national layout of major enterprises has also reached the time to release production capacity at full speed in the next 2 to 3 years. Market competition will be more brutal, do not rule out the determination of enterprises to carry out the price war to the end. Is there a price war in the agricultural materials industry? Can the price war really be invincible? How to fight a valuable price war? If you want to fight a quality price war Price wars can certainly be fought. After all, it can distinguish rivals, is a quick capture of the market. As marketing guru Philip Kotler said: there is no brand loyalty in the world that cannot be offset by a price cut of two cents. Price, there are still advantages in bulk products. Although many compound fertilizer companies have said that the hard cost of compound fertilizer production is getting higher and higher, profits are increasingly diluted, and the industry has not supported a price war, but it can not stop the pace of enterprises want to go further. Similar products than quality, the same quality than price. When many companies want to release production capacity and spread the market, they usually use a certain advantageous product to open the way and quickly occupy the market with price advantages, forcing competitive products to retreat. However, this advantage is only useful when the price is cheap, and it will not exist once the price recovers. To maintain a long-term market advantage, we need to fight a quality price war. So, how to fight a quality price war? 1. Low cost is an advantage Low price is not an advantage, low cost is. Achieving low cost is the solution to the price war. The premise of the price war is the product, and the product must be a good product with good quality. Rather than to match the price, the quality of the product will be lowered to ensure profits. Companies generally use to fight price wars are ordinary, bulk products, such as chlorine-based 15-15-15 compound fertilizer. Why can universal products be used to fight price wars? Because the price of general products is basically transparent, there are comparative advantages. Pupin can achieve low prices must be because it can rely on its own scale advantages, industrial chain advantages, management advantages and technical advantages, etc., to compress production costs, seize the market with low prices, and enhance market concentration. On the one hand to benefit the people, on the other hand to force out the opponent. The beneficiaries of the price war are naturally users, and high cost performance is naturally more popular. Although it is unknown to say that the price war, but several resource companies in charge of chatting, they all said that the product structure will be adjusted this year, the price of basic products will be more friendly to the people. To reduce the cost, not every enterprise has such strength. Either scale, or management, brings cost advantages. On the other hand, the price war has also promoted the progress of the industry, and promoted enterprises to constantly reconstruct low-cost advantages in technology, costs and products. You need to be able to compete on price. Enterprises that participate in competition need to be able to afford to play and move, so that they are not easy to go out. Many say the price war has shut out small businesses. Small enterprises have the practices and advantages of small enterprises, and they can do differentiation and innovation. 2. A price war supported by high-end products Then again, well-run resource-based enterprises have the strength to fight price wars, but there are few enterprises that can insist on fighting quality price wars. Why can't the price war last? Who doesn't know that one season may only work for one season? Many people say that as soon as the price of the product is reduced, customers come to run; Once the price is raised, customers gravitate to other stores. Want to continue to reduce the price, but it is not profitable. Profit is the foundation of enterprise survival. In order to get a shock market effect, the price must be in place, in the cost, the factory price is almost transparent today, can be used to fight the price war of the product must not make money or even lose money, who can bear this for a long time? Many companies envy fat companies to make money, although sales are not very high, but high profits. In contrast, most fertilizer and pesticide companies do not have the profit support of high-end products. Without the profit of high-end products to hedge the loss of price war products, the price war can not be fought. Therefore, many companies propose to high-end, but high-end is not only the high price, high-end is not only can be completed by Shouting slogans, it is to continue to change the product through technical means to achieve product restructuring. In order to achieve profitability, fertilizer companies basically realize the functionalization of large fertilizers, and pesticide companies are also increasingly entering the bureau of special fertilizers, which is to hope that there can be differentiation in products. Creating differentiated and competitive products can fundamentally solve the pain points of growers, achieve high-quality planting, achieve color transformation, stress resistance and other functions, and use better services to match the price and quality. 3 Tactical low or strategic low Enterprises can do tactical low prices or strategic low prices according to different purposes. Tactical low price is the price policy implemented by an enterprise in a certain period or in a certain region to achieve a certain market purpose by using a tactical price war to the main customers. The strategic low price is also a strategic cost advantage. Just like in the market, a company looks like it has been playing a price war, in fact, it is playing a "price + structure" war. It should be known that enterprises with strategic cost advantages generally design the proportion between diversion products (price war products) and profit products (medium and high-end products or differentiated products), which is a price war supported by high-end products to achieve total cost leadership. Why can some enterprises insist on a price war, so that people are "unattainable and daunting"? Is to do a good job of product structure layout and positioning. With different products, to achieve different strategic purposes. Perhaps, the price war is also an important step for some large enterprises to get rid of the low-end positioning of their products? Basic products can be very low in price, and then use high-end products to raise the research and development grade, and mid-end products to achieve profit. Use a large number of mid-range product profits to make up for a small number of basic product losses. Let's see, now you can remember the king of Shuanghui, as for the general ham sausage now? Millet, known as the price butcher, has now got rid of the positioning of low-end products? Price war has always been a strategy, not a goal. In addition, agriculture is so large, there are so many crops, and the demand is so large that not one or several products can be fully satisfied. As long as it focuses on user needs, launches differentiated and competitive products through innovation, every company has the opportunity to win. There is no winner in the price war, and pesticide companies must fight the value war The word "price war" has become the most common vocabulary of China's agricultural materials market, over the years seems to have scraped into a climate, fertilizers, pesticides, seeds, etc., are "you sing I debut", has become one of the most commonly used ways of enterprises. 2023 for the agricultural materials industry, especially for the pesticide industry, is a relatively difficult year, but also the most intense price war year. In 2023, 80% of enterprises have joined the price war According to ZhongNong Lihua original drug price index data, in 2023, 92% of all pesticide original drug products tracked fell in price, 8% of the product prices were flat, and there was no increase in varieties, and the index fell 37% last year. Among them, the price index of herbicides fell by 42%, and the top five varieties fell: phosphine glyphosate fell by 58%, enketone fell by 56%, glyphosate fell by 48%, 2, 4-drops fell by 45%, isometolachlor fell by 40%, and insecticide became the hardest hit area. As of December 24, 2023, the price of glyphosate has reported 26,000 yuan/ton, and the price of oxalammonium phosphine has quoted 68,000 yuan/ton, both of which have fallen off a cliff compared with the highest price in 2022, creating a historic low. It can be said that the overall price of pesticide in 2023 has fallen "hemp", and the corresponding price war of terminal preparation products is also crazy. According to industry insiders, the retail price of 20% ammonium phosphine 100 ml in 2023 has fallen to 3 to 5 yuan/bottle, and some small manufacturers even sell prices lower than this, which will benefit farmers in the short term, and the application cost of weeds will be reduced by at least 20%. But in the long run, the damage is also farmers, because under the blindly low price, the products are mixed, the quality is uneven, and the effect is difficult to guarantee. The sales director of a large agricultural chemical enterprise said that the continuous decline in the price of raw drugs has made many enterprises miserable, especially to the "double grass" enterprise. In 2023, 80% of enterprises have joined the price war, agricultural distribution channels and enterprises are in the price war game, difficult to extricate themselves, performance is generally under pressure, and profitability is weakened. In other words, in this competition, whether it is agricultural channels, famous brand large enterprises or weak small and medium-sized enterprises, most seem to have lost the initiative, are involuntarily pulled into the "price war" vortex. In the first three quarters of 2023, pesticide listed enterprises generally faced a double decline in revenue and net profit compared with the same period last year, among which, the net profit of "Shuangcao" enterprises represented by Xingfa Group, Xinan Shares and Lier Chemical fell by more than 70%. They all said that the decline in performance was mainly due to the large overall channel inventory of raw drugs and intermediates in the agricultural chemical industry, the sharp reduction in incremental customer demand, and the impact of the company's main core products by intensifying competition, resulting in a sharp decline in product sales prices year-on-year. 2 There are no real winners in the price war At present, there are only two situations in the pesticide market to provoke a price war: one is that some small manufacturers of miscellaneous brands rush to see that a product is profitable, reduce costs by fake and inferior means, implement low-price dumping, and attract some farmers; Another situation is the general move of "big fish eat small fish" between industries, that is, some enterprises use their own advantages in capital, technology and other aspects of the industry, trying to squeeze out or destroy some relatively weak enterprises through the strategy of price reduction, so as to achieve the purpose of industry monopoly. But no matter what kind of factors caused the price war, in the long run, is not conducive to the normal operation of the agricultural market. In the view of Zhao Xinwei, general manager of Anhui Baixiu Agricultural Technology Co., LTD., in 2023, with the continuous increase of pesticide excess capacity and the constant bottoming of the price of the original drug, the survival pressure of enterprises has increased sharply, and the price war is inevitable, in fact, most enterprises are not willing to participate in the price war, but once someone launched the price war, they can only actively respond. Therefore, the price war is very clever, but it has its inevitability, and it is indeed a double-edged sword, both to defeat opponents, but also to kill themselves. There is no real winner in the price war, especially with overdraft product quality and service in the way to participate in the price war, this kind of mutual fighting at the cost of damaging the enterprise brand, the final outcome can only be mutually destructive. 3. Take the value route to have a future Will the price war between pesticide industries stop in 2024? Zhao Xinwei believes that under the tide of pesticide price reduction, under the pressure of not participating in the price war, companies want to jump out of the war circle, no less than out of the earth's gravity. As of mid-late January 2024, agricultural enterprises are collecting funds to ensure the off-season operating rate, making full efforts in winter storage, and dealers at all levels have basically stocked up on advantageous products, which are the cost of their next participation in the price war, as for whose price is more advantageous, it is still unknown. It can be predicted that in the first two quarters of 2024, even if the price of the original drug bottomed out, the situation of the crazy price war will not be changed before the winter storage products have not been digested. Price war is a vicious circle, want to stay out of the price war is not easy, but blindly fight price war is no future, because price is not the only factor to attract consumers, is not the most effective factor. As Liu Xinzhao, an industry marketing expert, said, in 2024, if enterprises and channel operators want to go further, they should return to the essence of the agricultural materials industry and take the "value sales" route. This requires the first return to the essence of the market, to effectively understand the needs of farmers, to solve the planting pain points of farmers, to provide high-quality product solutions, to bring value-added effects to farmers; Second, explore a new model of technical marketing, provide professional technical services above the price, and provide scientific solutions to key diseases, pests and grasses; The third is to build a channel ecology of integrated manufacturers, create a long-term cooperation manufacturer model, do a good sales closed loop through win-win and multi-win, develop together with suitable dealers, and train to improve dealer capabilities; Fourth, rebuild the product ecology, create advantageous and differentiated categories, rely on original drugs or technical barriers, cultivate categories with corporate characteristics or cost advantages.

  • Where does the "universal oil" of phenoxymeclozole come from?
Phenacetoconazole has the good name of "universal oil", the reason is that phenacetoconazole has excellent mixing, in addition to alkaline pesticides can not be mixed, phenacetoconazole can be mixed with almost all acidic or neutral pesticides, not easy to produce drug damage at the same time, but also to achieve the maximum mixing effect. As an early triazole fungicide, phenoxymeclozole is known for its mild property (most of the triazole fungicides have the effect of inhibiting crop growth), and has a good internal absorption effect, and this internal absorption belongs to the up and down bidirectional conductivity. Phenoxyconocyclozole is a triazole fungicide developed by Syngenta, which was first listed in France in 1989 and first approved for registration in China in 1999. It has the characteristics of high efficiency, broad spectrum, low toxicity and low dosage, and is an excellent variety with relatively high safety among triazole fungicides. It is widely used in fruit trees, vegetables, cereal crops, horticultural crops, etc., to prevent and control black star disease, leaf spot disease, powdery mildew and so on. Phenyloconazole is a very excellent fungicide, at present, there are nearly 800 phenyloconazole registration certificates in China, and more than 300 manufacturers, according to different uses, dosage forms are also many. The main dosage forms are 92%, 95%, 97% of the original drug; 10%, 15%, 20%, 30%, 37%, 60% water dispersible granule, 10%, 20%, 25% microemulsion, 5%, 10%, 20%, 25% water emulsion, 3%, 30 g/l suspension seed coating agent, 25%, 250 g/L, 30% cream, 3%, 10%, 25%, 30%, 40% suspension agent, 10%, 12%, 30% wettable powder. Phenoxyconazole is a broad-spectrum, highly effective fungicide with the following advantages: 1, the bactericidal spectrum is wide: phenoxyconazole has a good control effect on a variety of pathogens, including powdery mildew, black spot, anthrax, leaf blight and so on. 2, strong internal absorption: phenacetoconazole has strong internal absorption, can be absorbed by plants and conducted in the body, thereby protecting plants from pathogens. 3, protection and treatment: phenacetoconazole not only has a protective effect, can prevent the infection of pathogens, but also has a therapeutic effect, can control the development of disease after the infection of pathogens. 4, high efficiency and low toxicity: the bactericidal effect of phenacetoconazole is significant, and the toxicity is low, and the impact on the environment and non-target organisms is small. 5, long residual period: the residual period of phenacetoconazole is longer, which can provide a longer time of protection and reduce the number of application. 6, improve the quality of crops: phenoxyconazole can reduce the damage of diseases to crops, thereby improving the yield and quality of crops. As a broad spectrum fungicide, phenoxyconazole may have some shortcomings in the use process: 1, the problem of resistance: long-term or unreasonable use of phenacetoconazole may lead to pathogen resistance to it, reducing its control effect. In order to delay the development of resistance, it is recommended to use reasonable rotation of fungicides with different mechanisms of action. 2, environmental residue: phenacetoconazole may have a certain residue in the environment, which may have a certain impact on environmental factors such as soil and water. 3, application restrictions: the use of phenacetoconazole may be subject to some restrictions, such as in some special ecosystems or organic agriculture may not be allowed to use. 4. Impact on non-target organisms: phenacetoconazole may produce certain toxicity to some non-target organisms, such as beneficial insects and aquatic organisms. In terms of compounding, Fenoxymeclozole can be combined with propionozole, Pyrimetril, carbendazol, methylthiobacillum, fluoxazol, Prometril, hexazolol, mancozol, apromazol, mancozol, amicarb, Propionzin, Pyrazolidin, polyamycin, mesocin, Jingangmycin, tiametrone, thiafuramide, pentazolol, pyrimidine riboside antibiotics, Formetrix, imidacloprid Brominonitrile, thiamethoxam and so on. The more common types of suspended seed coating are phenyloxazole, phenyloxazole + imidacloprid and phenyloxazole + fluxonitrile + thiamethoxam. The main registered control objects are wheat root rot, sheath blight, total erosion, loose smut and silvery smut, etc. It can be said that the emergence of phenacetoconazole and related mixed seed coating agents has effectively curbed wheat sheath blight, which has an outbreak trend, and has gradually turned sheath blight, a major disease of wheat, into a non-major disease. So much so that the blight has gradually faded in the minds of farmers. Phenoxymeclozole and related mixed seed coating agents have not only achieved a very perfect disease prevention performance on wheat, but also played a very important root disease control effect on the prevention and control of food crops such as soybeans, corn, and cash crops such as vegetables and Chinese medicinal materials root diseases (root rot disease, blight disease, sclerotium disease, stem rot disease, wilt disease). On peanuts, phenacetoconazole mainly prevents leaf spot and web spot. At the same time, the emergence of granules also makes phenoxenocyclozole a new breakthrough in the root disease control channel. Through the direct contact with soil or plant roots by granules, it not only reduces the application burden of farmers, but also reduces the use cost. At the same time, it can gradually release the drug effect, so as to achieve the effect of lasting disease prevention and treatment. Phenacetoconazole precautions: 1, can be mixed with most pesticides, fungicides, etc., do not mix with copper-containing agents (copper preparations can reduce its bactericidal ability). When used in combination, the mixing test must be done before application to avoid negative reactions or drug damage. 2, should be used alternately with other pesticides, so as to avoid bacteria resistance to phenacetoconazole. 3. The application time should be early rather than late, and the spraying effect should be best at the early stage of the disease. 4, toxic to fish, do not pollute water. Note: Due to the occurrence of diseases, insects, grass damage, drug use level, environmental climate is different, the technology used in this paper is for reference only, if you need to practical application, please consider it according to the local situation.

Bactericidal principle Oximide pentazolol is a kind of broad spectrum, high efficiency and low toxicity compound fungicide, which is composed of oximide and pentazolol. Oxime ester is a respiratory inhibitor, which inhibits mitochondrial respiration by preventing electron transfer between cytochrome b and c1, and has good protective and therapeutic effects on a variety of fungi. Pentazolol is a triazole fungicide, which can effectively kill bacteria by inhibiting ergosterol of pathogenic fungi. After the two are mixed, they show obvious synergistic effect, with multiple channels of treatment, eradication and protection, with long duration, strong permeability, good conductivity, flexible use and other characteristics, and have significant prevention and control effect on a variety of fungal diseases. It can be used before, at the early stage of the disease and at the late stage of the disease. The combination of the two ingredients effectively has complementary activities and synergies, which is not suitable for resistance, safe to use, and does not pollute the environment, but it is also necessary to pay attention to science and practice to avoid resistance. 2. Common dosage forms The portfolio currently has a number of manufacturers, and common dosage forms include 75% water dispersion granules, 30%, 36%, 42%, 48% suspension agents. 3. Main features (1) Wide sterilization spectrum: a variety of fungal diseases such as powdery mildew, vine blight, early blight, etc., with good control effect, a total of more than 30 diseases. (2) Thorough treatment: composed of two fungicides with completely different mechanisms of action, it has internal absorption and has a protective treatment and eradication effect on a variety of diseases. (3) Small impact on the environment: low toxicity, low residue, small impact on environmental organisms, including people, livestock, fish, bees, etc. (4) Stimulate crop growth: regulate the absorption of calcium, nitrogen and phosphorus by crops, promote healthier crop growth, improve yield and quality. 4. Use method (1) Rice disease control: Use 75% oximme and pentazolol water dispersing granule, 13-15g/mu, spray rice once before 5-7 days and at full ear stage. (2) Wheat disease control: Use 30% oxime bacteria and pentazolol suspension, 36-45 ml/mu, spray once at seedling and flowering stage of wheat. (3) Corn disease control: Use 30% oxime bacteria and pentazolol suspension, 36-45 ml/mu, spray once in the corn trumpet stage and grouting stage. (4) Apple disease prevention and control: 75% water dispersion granule is used in the early stage of disease, and 4000 ~ 5000 times liquid spray is used. (5) Prevention and treatment of pepper disease: At the early stage of disease, use 75% oxime ester and pentazolol water dispersing granule, 3000 times liquid spray, spray once every 7-10 days, 2-3 times in a row. As a highly effective bactericide, the combination of oximme and pentazolol has shown excellent performance in the prevention and treatment of many diseases. Its broad spectrum, efficiency and low toxicity make it an ideal choice in agricultural production. Through scientific and reasonable use, crops can be better protected, yields can be increased and more favorable conditions for agricultural production can be created.

  • Ten-year review and prospect of China's pesticide export under the Belt and Road Initiative
China is the world's largest producer and consumer of pesticides, the annual output of pesticides accounts for more than 30% of the world's total. Along with the "Belt and Road" initiative, it has also brought vitality and bright prospects to the export of pesticide products in China. At present, China's pesticide exports have been developing towards high quality... The following is a brief review of China's pesticide exports under the "Belt and Road" Initiative in the past 10 years, guided by the third "Belt and Road" Forum for International Cooperation, the future of China's pesticide exports are expected and suggestions are made for pesticide export enterprises. Under the "One Belt and One Road", China's pesticide export has changed dramatically in the past 10 years China is the world's largest producer and major consumer of pesticides, with annual output accounting for more than 30% of the world's total. In 2022, China's pesticide production will be about 2.5 million tons, accounting for 38.5% of the global total; From January to September 2023, the national output of chemical pesticides is 1.917 million tons, and China's pesticide production is more than enough to meet the domestic agricultural production every year, while actively exporting to the international agrochemical market. Under the "Belt and Road" initiative, China's pesticide exports in 2022 will be 1.4 million tons, accounting for 28.9% of the global total exports; According to statistics, the cumulative export volume from January to September 2023 has reached 1.197,500 tons. The growth rate of China's pesticide exports has made the world sit up and take notice of China's pesticides. 1. The Belt and Road Initiative enables China's pesticide exports As early as the 1970s, China began to export pesticides, and in 2001, China officially joined the WTO, which brought opportunities for pesticide import and export trade. After 2001, the import and export trade of pesticides was active, and by 2012, the export volume of pesticides in China reached 1,599,400 tons. 10 years ago, although China's pesticide exports have increased, but the quantity is not proportional to the price, but rely on low prices in exchange for international market share. 10 years ago, although China was a large country of pesticide production and marketing, it was a country with low pesticide export efficiency and low discourse power in the international market. Take 2013 as an example, according to customs statistics, the export amount of pesticide raw drugs in 2013 was only 5.082 billion US dollars, and the export amount of pesticide preparations was only 3.441 billion US dollars. In 2013, the amount of pesticide exports was only several billion dollars, and the export efficiency was extremely low. In 2013, China's annual export volume, sales and benefits of pesticides are negligible compared with the world's pesticide exporters. Ten years ago, China's pesticide export benefits were lukewarm, and there was no big improvement, resulting in the total weight of China's pesticide exports in the country's foreign trade. With the rapid advancement of the "Belt and Road" and the deepening of international cooperation, in the past 10 years, China's pesticide export quantity, structure, efficiency and other indicators are optimistic, and the export efficiency has increased a lot than 10 years ago, whether it is the export quantity, or the export amount, export countries and regions have changed in different degrees, making the world look at them. Driven by the "Belt and Road Initiative", China's pesticide exports have ushered in a good period of historical development. 2. Pesticide exports continue to increase Although the export volume of pesticide in China from 2013 to 2022 has increased and decreased, it is still a moderate climbing trend on the whole. Pesticide enterprises have stepped up the market deployment of countries and regions along the "Belt and Road", and pesticide exports have shown a good momentum of high-level development through adjustment, adaptation and improvement in the ups and downs. In 2014, China's pesticide exports reached 1,641,700 tons, reaching the best level in history; In 2020, China's pesticide exports reached 11.68 billion US dollars, an increase of 14.6% compared with the caliber, and another record high. From 2011 to 2020, the average output of pesticide in China was 1.48 million tons/year, an increase of 13%; Exports averaged 950,000 tons a year, an increase of 35%. From 2011 to 2020, the price of export pesticides continues to rise, and the price of imported pesticides gradually falls, and the price of imported pesticides is reduced from 3 times of the initial export pesticides to about 2 times. In 2021, China's cumulative pesticide exports were 2.202 million tons, with an export value of $8 billion, and the decline in export value was mainly due to the impact of the three-year epidemic and the constraints of the global economic depression. In 2022, China's pesticide exports reached 2.577 million tons, accounting for 35.9% of the total global exports (according to the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO)), a record high. The cumulative export volume from January to September 2023 is 1.197,500 tons. 3. Although the volume of exports fluctuates, the quality is improving Despite the ups and downs of pesticide exports in the past 10 years under the "Belt and Road", China's pesticide exports are still developing in the adjustment of ups and downs. When we consider China's pesticide exports, we should not just look at the number of exports, but look at the whole. Looking at China's pesticide exports in the 10 years under the "Belt and Road", we found that despite the peak and decline of pesticide exports in the 10 years under the "Belt and Road", the annual average is increasing, that is, from 2013 to 2023, the index base of pesticide exports has been continuously and mildly improved, even if there is a decline adjustment, but through the volume compression, quality improvement and technological progress. It's building up momentum for the next ascent. There are peaks and valleys, "One belt and One Road" under the 10 years of pesticide exports have experienced ups and downs, although there are adjustments, but also quantitative and qualitative changes, although the annual weight is decreasing, but the quality is improving, China's pesticide exports as a whole still show a good development trend consistent with domestic policies and markets, and this development is high-quality development, high-level development. At the same time, we also found that in the 10 years of pesticide export and pesticide foreign trade, China's pesticide export has obviously become an important path for pesticide enterprises to reduce the pressure on the domestic market, alleviate overcapacity, and curb the decline in efficiency, and it also obviously benefits from the 10 years of the "Belt and Road" initiative. The "Belt and Road" initiative has played an important role in alleviating domestic overcapacity, withdrawing preferential export policies, and resolving adverse factors such as rising prices of raw materials such as coal, electricity, oil and gas, and petrochemicals. The initiative has further promoted the opening up of China's pesticide industry, increased China's pesticide enterprises to actively go out and carry out layout along the "Belt and Road" countries. 4. The decade of the Initiative has seen significant achievements in pesticide exports Relevant statistics show that China's glyphosate and other products are constantly moving towards the international pesticide market, and more and more pesticide companies are looking for more cooperation opportunities in the international market to go abroad. Nowadays, many countries in the world such as Vietnam, India, Malaysia, Thailand, Laos, Myanmar and other Southeast Asian countries import a large number of Chinese pesticides, including Europe and the United States and other countries also import a large number of Chinese pesticides, some traditional agricultural countries love Chinese pesticides. China's pesticide exports have entered the best historical period of development along with the "Belt and Road" initiative. As the "Belt and Road" cooperation extends from the Eurasian continent to Africa and Latin America, more than 150 "Belt and Road" cooperation countries and regions can see Chinese pesticides in the local market to serve agriculture, the "Belt and Road" has promoted the high-quality development of China's pesticides, and the export structure has been significantly improved. In terms of figures, although the export of China's pesticide industry in the past 10 years of the "Belt and Road" has had ups and downs, the export quality has been improved, the export efficiency has been improved, the export market has expanded, and the export trend is optimistic. It can be said that China's pesticide export achievements in the past 10 years under the "Belt and Road" are not simply reflected in the quantity of exports, but in the qualitative improvement. Looking back at the development of China's pesticide export in the past 10 years, China's pesticide has stepped out of the pace of opening-up.

  • Docomycin industry observation
Polycidomycin (also known as "polycidin") is a natural substance produced by soil bacteria, which can be used to control a variety of pests, such as thrips, Noctuloths, pied flies, leaf mites, locusts, fruit flies, red fire ants, etc., and is also used for pest control in animal husbandry, health and other fields. Docomycin was originally A macrolide biogenic insecticide extracted from saccharomyces polyspora fermentation broth by researchers of Dow Agrochemicals, containing 85% spinosyn A and 15% spinosyn D (of which spinosyn A has a higher activity), which entered the US market in 1997, and then sold to many countries. The patent of doxidomycin compound in China expired in 2007, and since then, many domestic enterprises have laid out doxidomycin business. Docomycin is toxic to touch and stomach. Its mode of action is novel. After ingescence or contact with docomycin, the component will act on the nervous system of pests and continuously activate the nicotinic acetylcholine receptor of the target insect, but its binding site is different from that of nicotine and imidacloprid. The International Insecticide Resistance Action Committee (IRAC) divided docomycin into the fifth group. Docomycin can quickly paralyze and paralyze pests, often causing pest death after 1-2 days, and the effect is fast. Docomycin can kill a wide variety of pests, and its biggest feature is reflected in the effective control of thistle horse. Thrips are listed as a class of domestic crop pests and diseases, and there is no effective pesticide against such pests in the domestic market, and the docomycin series (including ethyl docidin) is the only effective pesticide category for thrips in the market at present. It is also reported that in the control of lepidoptera pests, the efficacy of doxomycin can be comparable to cypermethrin. In addition, another advantage of docomycin is that it is safe. At present, there are no reports of drug harm of docomycin. Thanks to its unique mechanism of action, these products are also safe for mammals, aquatic animals and birds. The ingredient is also biodegradable. Docomycin can be used in green food production in China, and it is allowed to be used in organic cultivation in the United States and the European Union. In 2023, the European Union updated the preliminary results of the rereview of doxidomycin by Codihua as the main applicant, which considered that this hot insecticide had no endocrine disrupting effect, and the safety of doxidomycin was again recognized. However, docomycin also has some drawbacks that limit its market expansion. The production cost of docomycin is high, the yield of docomycin produced by polyspora acanthophylla fermentation is low, the by-products are large, the extraction process is complicated and other factors lead to the high price of the product, which limits the popularization of docomycin. In addition, docomycin has poor photostability and degrades rapidly under sunlight. Therefore, docomycin products are prone to the problem of unsatisfactory durability. To solve the problem of efficacy, Dow modified docidomycin with chemical structure and prepared ethyl docidin. This component also acts on the insect nervous system, has gastric toxicity and tactile action (IRAC listed as Group 5), but has a wider insecticidal spectrum and stronger efficacy than doxidomycin. Two of the components, ethyl policidin-J and ethyl policidin-L, have both won the U.S. President's Green Chemistry Challenge Award. In China, ethyl polycidin has entered the directory of "Guidelines for the use of green food pesticides" and is a means of production of green food. In addition, many docomycin is used in combination with other active ingredients to compensate for the deficiency in efficacy. Future prospect In recent years, the application of integrated pest management methods has expanded year by year, especially in the agricultural field, the demand for green pesticides and biological pesticides has increased year by year, and the market of docomycin series products will continue to grow in the future. In addition, as more new production capacity is built and put into operation, the application of docomycin series in China will continue to rise. Although the prospects are promising, the rapid expansion of the docomycin series market is still limited by some factors. Docidomycin and ethyl docidin developed by Dow, as well as avermectin and emamectin developed by Syngenta, are known as the "four Kings" of fermentation product insecticides, accounting for about 90% of global sales of fermentation product insecticides. The high market compatibility of abamectin and emamectin with docomycin limited the significant expansion of docomycin market. However, after the Ministry of Environmental Protection listed abamectin as "highly polluting and high-risk" in 2017, its sales are declining. Following a review by the European Union, abamectin was restricted to use only in greenhouses in 2023 due to its high risk to birds, wild mammals, aquatic invertebrates, bees, and non-target arthropods. Competition from avermectin is declining. In addition, the production cost of the docomycin series is higher, and farmers will have higher expectations for the effect of high-priced products. However, some enterprises have made progress in overcoming the production problems, in addition to realizing the large-scale production of doxidomycin, but also to increase the proportion of more active spinosyn A in doxidomycin. Some companies also make breakthroughs in dosage forms. For example, in addition to the most common suspension agent, Miura Momokusa's docomycin also has tablets, attractants, powders, etc. The tablets consist of a quick-release layer and a slow-release layer. The quick-release layer can quickly disintegrate and release docomycin after being put into water, killing pests in the water in a short time. The slow-release layer can protect the activity and stability of docomycin in water, release docomycin slowly and for a long time, and greatly reduce the use of drugs. Therefore, the price and efficacy of docomycin are expected to further improve in the future. Companies can also explore ways to differentiate themselves from other products through more technical research. The chemical synthesis of docomycin is difficult, so the biosynthesis using microbial fermentation is favored. However, polyspora spiculatum is difficult to culture and difficult to genetic operation. Cloning the biosynthesis pathway of docomycin and conducting heterologous expression in bacteria that are easy to genetically manipulate are important research directions for the efficient production of docomycin. On this basis, the gene family is modified to achieve the expression of highly active polycidomycin derivatives (such as butenyl polycidin) [1], which is also the research direction to improve the activity of polycidomycin products - but it is difficult to register new active ingredients. Docomycin series products will win a larger market share in the future after continuous improvement in production efficiency, cost, capacity and efficacy. On the other hand, with the expansion of industry output, competition between enterprises will also intensify. Domestic enterprises in the expansion of the docomycin market, through the expansion of registration, the development of more joint use with pesticides, to open up the northwest, southwest of these docomycin application and less areas of the crop market, in addition to the development of flowers, veterinary drugs, stored grain pest control and other market segments. Market positioning is very important for the development of doxidomycin business. Source: AgroPages (World Agrochemical Network)

  • Biopesticides are the future potential of pesticide industry in China
On January 5, 2024, the theme of biochemical pesticide innovation and development Forum and AXEB (China) Strategic Upgrade & brand release with the theme of "Exploring new categories and common innovation Value" was held in Shanghai. This conference, jointly organized by "Agricultural Information Guide" and AXEB (China), focuses on "biochemical pesticides" and discusses the status quo, important technologies, development directions and innovative ideas of biochemical pesticides from the perspective of innovation and change. At the same time, AXEB (China) solemnly released 9 new ingredients and 5 new brands of biochemical pesticides, and debuted the cutting-edge technology of "Green nano cartridge packaging technology". 1 Steady biopesticide high quality development "fixed star" 1.1 Positive policies to enhance the development momentum of biopesticides Zhang Jianqiu, editor-in-chief and general manager of China Chemical News Co., LTD., pointed out in his speech at the meeting that "this tells the agriculture and agricultural materials industry from another Angle to seize the opportunity, develop at a high level and quality, and develop high-quality productivity." Biopesticide is a small branch of the agricultural materials industry, but it is the most innovative gene, the most potential for development of a branch, in line with the needs of agricultural modernization, in line with the national policy of double reduction. Zhang Jianqiu pointed out that we must be clear that the development of any industry is guided by the national policy guidelines and must follow the national industrial policy guidelines. Zhang Jianqiu believes that the most important policy is to stabilize growth. At the Central Economic Work Conference, the 12 words of "seeking progress in stability, promoting stability with progress, establishing first and then breaking" clarified the internal logic and sequence of steady growth, which is the fundamental compliance of all walks of life in our country for a period of time. Agriculture is one of the stable stars of the country, and the guarantee role and innovative development of the agricultural material industry must follow the internal logic and sequence. Therefore, it is a big opportunity for the biopesticide industry to develop. 1.2 The process of biopesticide registration has been significantly accelerated The state invests to promote scientific and technological innovation, reduce the use of chemical pesticides and fertilizers, and provide opportunities for the development of biopesticides and biological control methods. Zhang Hongjun, director of the Pesticide Inspection Institute of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Areas, analyzed the registration management of biopesticides in China from three aspects: registration management, industry development and future expectations. At present, China has significantly relaxed the registration management of biological pesticides compared with chemical pesticides in terms of residue, toxicology, potency and environmental impact, and even does not need to submit residue information. According to relevant data, a total of 109 new active ingredients were applied for from 2018 to 2023. Among the registered active ingredients, 48 biological pesticides were obtained, including 7 plant source pesticides, 13 biological chemical pesticides and 28 microbial pesticides. Biopesticides accounted for 44.0% of the total active ingredients. However, from the overall number of pesticide registration, biopesticides still accounted for a low proportion of registered pesticide products, with 624 biochemical pesticides, accounting for 1.5%. In terms of the output of various types of biological pesticides, the output of biochemical pesticides was the highest, which was 11,694 tons, microbial pesticides were more than 8,000 tons, and plant source pesticides were 7,445 tons. Zhang Hongjun stressed that in recent years, the proportion of biopesticide registration has increased significantly, and the process has accelerated significantly. 1.3 It is imperative to accelerate the development of biopesticide industry With the continuous development of science and technology, the call to reduce the use of chemical pesticides and protect the human living environment is increasing, and the research, development and utilization of biopesticides to control crop diseases and pests are increasing, and the status and role of biopesticides in the comprehensive control of diseases and pests is becoming more and more important. Wang Fengle, vice president of China Pesticide Development and Application Association and former chief expert of the National Agricultural Technology Center, pointed out that entering a new stage, implementing the new development concept, developing biopesticide and agricultural green high-quality development, and ensuring the quality and safety of agricultural products, and protecting the ecological environment and the coordinated development of society, China's biopesticide application has shown a new situation of accelerated development. Wang Fengle said that the application area of biopesticides in China has continued to expand, and the usage has grown rapidly. In a series of comprehensive solutions and typical models for the scientific use of biopesticides, the promotion of the use of mu in order from largest to smallest are biochemical pesticides, plant source pesticides and microbial pesticides. With the implementation of the zero-growth action of pesticide use and the reduction action of chemical pesticides, China's crop pest control area and chemical control area basically showed a downward trend, and the use of biological pesticides has maintained a growth momentum, rising year by year from 680 million mu in 2015, breaking through 1 billion mu for the first time in 2018, and exceeding 1.4 billion mu by 2022. 2. Strengthen technological innovation and make efforts to "new quality productivity" 2.1 Finding new quality productivity in the "gaps in history" "As long as you find the cracks in history, go there a little early to squat, when the wheel of history over, you will be carried to fly!" Zhai Xiaojiu, Chairman of AXEB (China), brought his share of "Gaps in history - the vents of biochemical pesticides" at the meeting. Zhai Xiaojiu also stressed that biochemical pesticides represent the new quality productivity of the development of the industry! To this end, after 1,458 days of guarding, AXEB (China) made efforts to "new quality productivity" and successfully built a matrix of biochemical pesticide products. Zhai Xiaojiu said that at this meeting, AXEB (China) brought the release of new ingredients and brands of biochemical pesticides, including 1 dosage form technology and 9 new active ingredients of biochemical pesticides. 1 dosage form technology, that is, green nano "bullet core" packaging technology. 9 new active ingredients of biochemical pesticides, namely, fungal vaccine - Senbaokang ®, vaccine - Copper - Tai Dong ®, non-dedusting protective agent - Membrane X, 36 degrees of safe use - Kang X, copper with "tail" - copper X, "supplement two knife" thrips - isolation of devils ®, borers interfering agent - Love barrier, leaf spray defense agent - inflammation line, RNA pesticide - Thistle. At the same time, more than 10 new products will be launched in the next 2 to 3 years; In the next 3 to 5 years, more than 30 new products will be launched. In the next 6 to 10 years, a strong matrix of biochemical pesticide products will be formed. During the meeting, some people asked how AXEB (China) could introduce so many new ingredients of biochemical pesticides at once, which sounded impossible. In this regard, Zhai Xiaojiu pointed out that it is because the research and development model of AXEB (China) is different. The research and development of AXEB (China) is supported by cutting-edge technologies developed by global green biology pioneers, and the core competitiveness lies in global leadership and global experience. Biochemical pesticides, with chemical enthusiasm, biological nourishment, the time is ripe for change! In the next 10 years, Zhai defines it as a "gap in the history" of AXEB (China) biochemical pesticide innovation and promotion, and he is convinced that combining biochemical pesticides with traditional crop protection products in a wise way will bring greater benefits to agriculture! Apply biological science to pesticide production! Zhai Rui, Director of Consumer goods business of AXEB (China), said that the progress of The Times has made us pay more attention to food safety, and AXEB (China) R & D center is jointly developed with the global green biological pioneer, committed to making biological science into the core competitiveness of products, through the organic combination of innovative technology and green development, to meet more green hopes. On the basis of European research and development, AXEB (China) will be the world's 5 new products in 2024 - Kang X, membrane X, Copper X, Senbao Kang ®, Tai Dong ®, belong to the biochemical pesticides, new ingredients, China's first! With the continuous launch of AXEB (China) biochemical pesticide products and the continuous development of research and development, AXEB (China) brand strategy upgrade and refresh. X represents the infinite future of sustainable development in the field of biology, representing unknown, hope, perfection, goals, and infinite possibilities. Look to the future, fulfill the commitment of green development, and shape a green life. 2.2 Nanotechnology helps improve the performance of biopesticides "Why are biopesticides getting so much attention recently? Why should the hot nanotechnology be combined with biopesticides? "I think it's a very forward-looking concept that I read through the gaps of history, and my question was suddenly answered." Huang Qiliang, a researcher at the Institute of Plant Protection of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, said at the meeting, "We have finally found the advantages of biopesticides, we must put biopesticides in the application scenario to analyze, can not be compared with chemical pesticides directly." As we all know, nano pesticides, as an emerging technology in the field of modern agricultural plant protection, has become a research hotspot since this century. When introducing the "Application of nanotechnology in the research and development of biopesticide preparations", Huang Qiliang pointed out that for biopesticides, most biopesticides can be nano-ized, and nanotechnology can improve the application performance of biopesticides. The quality core of nano pesticide is nano scale and its small scale effect. Compared with non-nano pesticide, the efficacy of nano pesticide can be increased by 31.5% and 18.9% in field. Application process loss can be reduced by 41.4%; Leaching loss in soil can be reduced by 22.1%. 2.3 New biopesticide technology opens up a new track for development Biopesticides are a "key" to solve the problem of traditional pesticides, which can alleviate the resistance of chemical pesticides, meet the demand for high-quality agricultural products, and solve the obstacles of soil continuous cropping. So, the development of new biopesticide technology in the future should also pay attention to several directions? Fang Wei, associate researcher of Hubei Province biopesticide Engineering Research Center, introduced the innovative development of new biopesticides under cutting-edge technologies, pointing out that they mainly include biological seed coating agents, RNA pesticides, protein pesticides, phage pesticides, plant immune inducers, biological herbicides and so on. Fang Wei also pointed out that the scale of the biopesticide industry is developing rapidly. In 2020, the global market value of biopesticides is 4.3 billion US dollars, and it is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 14.7%, and the market value is expected to exceed chemical pesticides by 2050. Since 2012, multinational companies have been mergers and acquisitions of biopesticide companies, and large-scale biopesticide companies have become the object of looting. In terms of the research and development of new biopesticide varieties in China, the number of patents in China has shown a blowout growth since 2010, and by the end of 2021, there are 126 biopesticide varieties in China, which has more than doubled compared with 61 in 2011. At the same time, Fang Wei stressed that although there is a lack of new and efficient biopesticide varieties at present, biopesticides must be the future potential for the development of China's pesticide industry! 2.4 High-end dialogue: Building the future through biology In recent years, the world's leading pesticide companies such as Syngenta, Bayer, Codihua and BASF have increased the weight of biopesticides through acquisitions and independent research and development. Relying on the strong technological innovation ability and marketing ability of these large multinational companies, as well as the rising enthusiasm for global research and development, biopesticides have ushered in a golden age of market growth. At this conference, a high-end dialogue on biopesticides with the theme of "Biology, building the future" was wonderful. Lu Yuejian, Senior product Development Manager of BASF Agricultural Solutions, Yang Chun, product line Manager of Syngenta Biologics, Wang Chen, Marketing Director of UPL, Dou Yongxiu, Brand Director of AXEB (China), Deng Chunsong, Chairman of Fuzhou Hexin Agricultural Materials Co., LTD., delivered their views respectively, and Wang Xianwei, Deputy Director of Strategic Cooperation Department of Agricultural Materials News, hosted the high-end dialogue. 3 Brand release, X biological practice green development 3.1 AXEB (China) biochemical pesticide brand was released "The grand blueprint of the future biochemical pesticide sector has been drawn!" Wang Liang, General manager of AXEB (China), made a speech at the AXEB (China) Strategic Upgrade & Brand launch conference, "After experiencing silence, precipitation and growth, AXEB (China) strategic upgrade, will resonate with the majority of partners in the same frequency, and work together to create value." AXEB (China) Brand strategy upgrade refresh! According to Dou Yongxiu, brand director of AXEB (China), AXEB (China) will launch a series of biochemical pesticide products from the perspective of more environmentally friendly and efficient solutions to farmers' problems, from fungal vaccines to biochemical fungicides that activate the natural defense system of crops to biochemical insecticides that quickly knock down pests. At the same time, Dou Yongxiu introduced the product brand positioning of the fungal vaccine "Senbao Kang ®", which has the core "cartridge encapsulation" technology, as well as the "membrane X" which does not depowder and deep protection, the "copper X" which starts the lock spot in 10 minutes, the "Kang X" which is used with 36 degrees of safety, and the "Tai Dong ®" which kills bacteria more than the "surface article". In the brand release, AXEB (China) also launched the "Merrime ® X Healthy crops China Tour" activity, Dou Yongxiu pointed out that the activity will be "Merrime ®+" brand forward, in rice, wheat, corn, citrus, potato, cotton and other crops, from the perspective of solving farmers' problems, to carry out a series of biochemical new products sustainable value demonstration action. Bring the beauty of sustainable development of X biology to Chinese crops, and let biological science shape green life. 3.2 5 new biochemical pesticides hide "black technology" Wang Peng, Product Development Director of AXEB (China), introduced and shared "AXEB (China) New categories, new values and strategic development of biochemical pesticides". Wang Peng said that at present, AXEB (China) has received 9 new effective active ingredient naming letters, which share the core category advantages, that is, crop safety, bee safety, zero residue, zero picking interval, zero resistance, can be used in organic agricultural production, and can be synergistic with chemical pesticides, used in the comprehensive management of crop pests and diseases solution. Wang Peng also shared in detail the product characteristics and application potential of the upcoming 5 new products Kang X, membrane X, Copper X, Sambo Kang ®, and Tai Dong ®, and also introduced the cutting-edge technologies such as "fungal vaccine" defense technology, "bullet core encapsulation" technology, "sub-nano tail copper" technology, and "embedded double-layer protection" technology, which solved the problem of biochemical pesticides "stuck neck". It is understood that AXEB (China) launched "Kang X, membrane X, copper X, Senbao Kang ®, Tai Dong ®" five new biochemical pesticides, some of which are equipped with "green nanomaterial packaging technology", achieving a breakthrough in "jam neck" technology. At the meeting, Zhou Menglong, head of product research and development of AXEB (China), gave a live demonstration of "green nanocore packaging technology", and introduced that different from traditional microcapsule packaging technology, nanocore packaging technology uses biocompatible and biodegradable green nanomaterials, and uses water as the carrier of green environmental protection technology to encapsulate active substances. Do not use organic solvents, do not produce toxic and harmful substances, the main technical advantages are: first, the core has a unique phased release mode, which can effectively prolong the drug effect and reduce the frequency of use; Second, the core has the characteristics of high coverage, high performance, high stability, safer and healthier.

  • Prometolachlor has been banned and will soon be withdrawn from the EU market
On January 3, 2024, the European Commission (EC) issued a formal decision: based on the EU Plant Protection Products PPP REGULATION (EC) No 1107/2009, the active substance spermine metolachlor (S-metolachlor) is no longer approved for the EU register of plant protection products. The draft resolution was issued by the EU to the WTO in May 2023, and this formal resolution is largely in line with the previous draft. (Credit: Eur-Lex) Material background Prometolachlor is a chloroacetamide herbicide developed by Novartis (now Syngenta) that works by inhibiting cell growth by blocking the synthesis of ultra-long chain fatty acids. Metolachlor has a wide crop spectrum and is the main herbicide for corn and soybean fields, which are important food crops in the world. As of the beginning of January 2024, there are a total of 24 original drug registrations and 62 preparation registrations in China, and preparation products are mainly used to control annual weeds. At present, spermatalachlor has been registered in the European Union, the United States, Canada, Australia and other countries and regions. Eu review In 2005, metolachlor was first approved by the European Union under the old Regulation on Plant Protection Products (Directive 91/414/EEC). After being included in the EU List of Approved Active Substances for Plant Protection Products (COMMISSION IMPLEMENTING REGULATION (EU) No 540/2011) the approval is valid until 31 July 2014. Due to the delay in the completion of the re-evaluation, the approval period for spermatalachlor has been repeatedly extended, most recently to November 15, 2024. Back in February 2023, the European Food Safety Authority informed the European Commission of the results of its latest review on spermatalachlor, which mainly included the following risk points: (1) According to the monitoring data, the content of spermatachloride and its related active metabolites in groundwater exceeded the limit value of 0.1μg/L, including metabolites with high suspicion of genotoxicity and carcinogenicity. (2) There is a high risk of secondary toxicity for earthworm feeding mammals. The European Commission invited applicants to submit comments on the findings of the review, but it did not dispel the EU's concern about the risk points of spermatalachlor. In this process, the French Agency for Food, Environment and Occupational Health and Safety (Anses) responded in February 2023, taking the lead in banning the main use of the herbicide in France, and the formal decision of the European Commission means that the EU level has finally decided that promealachalamine does not meet the approval criteria of the EU PPP Regulation for plant protection products. It was decided not to approve the active substance. Buffer period In accordance with Article 46 of Regulation 1107/2009, Member States shall be given sufficient time to withdraw the authorisation of the relevant plant protection products after the issuance of the decision, and an adequate marketing buffer period for plant protection products. Therefore, the decision states that EU Member States should withdraw the authorisation of plant protection products containing imeachlor by 23 April 2024, and that the marketing buffer period set by Member States should not exceed 23 July 2024.

  • The EU intends not to renew the registration of enylmorpholine
Recently, the European Union issued a draft regulation on the non-renewal of the approval of the active substance enoyl morpholine. The Regulation does not renew the registration of the active substance enoylmorpholine in accordance with (EC) No 1107/2009. Eu Member States will withdraw authorisation for plant protection products containing enylmorpholine as an active substance. The main reason for not renewing the approval is that the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) considers enylmorpholine to be an endocrine disruptor and reproductive toxicity Class 1B compound. The comment period on the draft regulation is until February 13, 2024. At present, the date of approval of the EU registration authorization to revoke the registration of enoyl morpholine has not been determined, according to relevant EU regulations, after the registration of enoyl morpholine takes effect, EU member states must withdraw the registration authorization of pesticides containing enoyl morpholine within 6 months, and the grace period for the use of existing pesticide products in stock shall not exceed 12 months. The EU may further reduce the maximum residue limits (MRLs) for phenomorph in agricultural products. dimethomorph; Dimethomorph; CAS login number: 110488-70-5; Current EU ratification expiration date: February 15, 2025; The structural formula is: Enyl morph is a derivative of cinnamic acid, which is used to control plant diseases such as downy mildew and late blight on cruciferous vegetables, melons and fruit trees. In October 2007, it was first approved under the old EU Regulation on Plant Protection Products (Directive 91/414/EEC) and subsequently included in the list of approved active substances under Regulation (EU) No 540/2011. On May 26, 2023, the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) issued the results of the peer review of enylmoline, which was the main reason for the ban of the substance because it belongs to the reproductive toxicity Class 1B substance, which may harm reproductive ability, and was judged to meet the endocrine disruptor standards for humans and wild mammals.

  • The cost of new pesticide research and development has increased, and the difficulty has increased, and the profit of the pesticide industry chain has tilted to the preparation and sales end
Plant protection products are a variety of products used to control diseases, pests and weeds that harm agricultural production, and play a greater role in the agricultural industry in terms of yield and food security. Without proper plant protection products, the production of most crops can be reduced by more than half. The global plant protection product industry has a high concentration, and the pharmaceutical companies are dominated by overseas giants The industry chain of plant protection products can be divided into five major links: raw materials - intermediates - original drug production - preparations and packaging - sales. The pesticide industry is in the middle of the stream, including pesticide intermediates, original drug production and preparation processing, and the upstream industry is the basic chemical raw materials. At present, China's chemical industry system has been relatively complete, and the supply of raw materials is sufficient, which provides raw material guarantee for the production of pesticide enterprises. The downstream industry is mainly agricultural production fields such as agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery and health fields, etc. The downstream industry belongs to the basic industry of the national economy, and the demand for pesticide products is relatively rigid, which plays a role in promoting the sustainable development of the pesticide industry. The agricultural safety policy has promoted the market scale of China's plant protection product industry to continue to increase. In recent years, China has always put the guarantee of food security in the first place, the central document No. 1 in 2023 requires that the foundation of food security be consolidated in an all-round way, and the revitalization of the seed industry be deeply implemented, referring to the "overall control of food and important agricultural products", and "strengthen the production, storage and transportation control of fertilizers and other agricultural materials". According to AgbioInvestor data, the market size of plant protection products in China will reach 49.7 billion yuan in 2022, with a compound growth rate of 4.28% since 2017; It is expected to reach 51.5 billion yuan by the end of 2023. The global plant protection products industry concentration is high, the domestic market concentration is low, and the market share of enterprises is small. According to AgbioInvestor statistics, in 2021, the global plant protection product industry has a high concentration, and the top five market shares (calculated by the unified standard of preparation business revenue) are Syngenta (28%), Bayer (17%), BASF (11%), Codihua (11%) and UPL (8%), with CR5 reaching 75%; The market concentration of China's plant protection product industry is low, and the top five market shares in 2021 are Syngenta (11%), Runfeng (4%), Zhongnong Lihua (3%), Yingtaijiahe (3%) and Xinan Chemical (3%), CR5 is only 24%. The domestic pesticide industry manufacturers are mainly generic and pesticide intermediates enterprises, and the field of pesticide creation is dominated by international giants. At present, the global pesticide enterprises can be divided into three echelon. The first echelon is the pioneering pesticide enterprises represented by Syngenta, Bayer, BASF and Kedihua. The second tier is the generic pesticide enterprises that expand their market share by their advantages in R&D, production, sales channels and marketing, such as Adama, Fumi, Sumitomo Chemical, and Newphham. The top two echelons account for about 90% of the global pesticide market, and the remaining pesticide companies usually supply raw materials to the top two echelons or focus on regional markets. Generic active drug enterprises mainly produce pesticide active drugs whose patents have expired or are not protected by patent law, and sell them to downstream preparation manufacturers; Pesticide preparation manufacturers mainly purchase raw drugs from upstream enterprises, process and produce preparation products directly used in agricultural production by adding various auxiliaries and adopting appropriate compounding processes, and then sell them to end users through a wide range of marketing channels. Pesticide intermediates enterprises are upstream of active drug enterprises, mainly providing customized intermediates needed in the production process of active drug for leading multinational pesticide enterprises and other active drug manufacturers, and do not participate in the competition of pesticide terminal market. Although China encourages research and development innovation, it is currently a major producer and exporter of pesticides in the world, but the proportion of overall research and development investment is still low compared with international giants, and the dominant position of the global pesticide industry is still occupied by a few giants, and the domestic pesticide industry manufacturers are mainly generic and pesticide intermediates. In addition to part of the pesticide in water solubility can be used directly, the others must be processed into preparations according to their properties to be used. The emulsion is a relatively stable emulsion formed by mixing the pesticide, organic solvent and emulsifier in the reaction kettle to form a transparent liquid and adding water. Cream is the simplest pesticide formulation, and the active ingredients that can be dissolved in organic solvents can be processed into cream, which contains fewer components, has the widest adaptability to the original drug, and is easy to use, and is one of the most stable pesticide preparations. Wettable powder is one of the traditional dosage forms of pesticide registration in China, which is made by mixing pesticide and filler. It has a long history, mature technology and convenient use. Water dispersible granule is a granular pesticide formulation which can disintegrate quickly after entering water and disperse to form suspension. It has the advantages of suspension, dispersion and good stability. Water suspension agent is a product that processes the solid active components of pesticides insoluble in water into fine particles, and adds surfactants and other additives to disperse and suspend in water to form a stable suspended liquid. It has the characteristics of no dust generation, low transdermal toxicity, high suspension rate, high biological activity, small dosage and low production cost. In recent years, pesticide dosage forms at home and abroad have maintained a relatively stable structure, conventional preparation types such as emulsion, wettable powder, solubilizable agent (water agent) account for about 50%, the number of registered products such as suspension agent, water emulsion, micro-emulsion and other dosage forms has developed steadily, accounting for about 20%, and granular and sustained release agents account for relatively little. The difficulty of new pesticide research and development has increased, and the profit of the pesticide industry chain has tilted to the preparation and sales end The profit points of the pesticide industry are mainly concentrated in the research and development and sales at both ends of the industrial chain, the downstream consumption of pesticide products is relatively stable, the research and development investment of the creation of pesticides is large, the development cycle is long, the risk is high, and the barriers to entry are high. After decades of development, pesticide products have experienced several generations of upgrades, product categories are complete, the use effect is improved, the discovery of new ingredients and the development difficulty of new products has increased significantly, the creation of pesticide enterprises in order to ensure the leading product advantages, have to increase their research and development investment, the proportion of global agrochemical enterprises in the research and development end has risen to a certain extent. Lower return per unit of input. Therefore, at present, the main profitable links of the global pesticide industry chain are concentrated in preparations and agricultural resources services, accounting for more than 60% of the industry chain, and profits are tilted to the sales end. According to Phillips McDougall, between 2010 and 2014, research and development costs of new pesticide products reached $286 million, an increase of 21%, 39% and 11.70% compared with 1995, 2000 and 2005 to 2008, respectively. An average of 159,600 compounds were synthesized and studied for the successful registration of a new pesticide active ingredient, an increase of 203.95%, 14.45% and 13.98% compared with 1995, 2000 and 2005-2008, respectively. The time from first synthesis to first marketing of a new active ingredient is also increasing, with an average of 11.3 years between 2010 and 2014, up 3 years from 1995, 2.2 years from 2000 and 1.5 years from 2005 to 2008. The pesticide industry is in a destocking cycle, and the industry prosperity is expected to improve The pesticide industry is expected to recover, and the export volume is rising. Since the second half of 2021, affected by policies such as dual control of energy consumption, upstream raw materials have risen sharply, the industry's operating rate is insufficient, supply is limited, and the price index of pesticides has risen. After January 2022, with the price of major pesticide products such as glyphosate falling, the price index of pesticide active drugs fell, and it is still fluctuating at a low level

  • In 2024, the "one certificate and one product" of pesticides will land, and dealers will usher in a cruel reshuffle, and no one can stay out of the situation
In recent years, regardless of whether the agricultural supplies business is good, the status of agricultural supplies dealers in the entire industry has been very high. Every spring, the dealers in various regions will be crowded with business personnel of the manufacturers, they are waiting for the emperor to "turn over the card" like the concubine waiting for dealers to interview. However, all this may change radically with the implementation of "one certificate, one product" for pesticides. There are still many agricultural dealers who do not understand what "one certificate one product" is and what it means to them. In the "Letter on Soliciting opinions on the Revised Draft of the Management Measures for Pesticide Labels and Instructions" issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs in 2023, a pesticide registration certificate can only be used for one product. This means that the era of authorized loan and multiple products in the pesticide industry will come to an end. Once the "one certificate, one product" policy is implemented, the first significant impact is the sharp reduction in the number of pesticide products, some professionals predict that at least 80% of pesticide products will disappear from the market overnight. Agricultural dealers will be from the past "product surplus" into "supply shortage", and even into the "no goods to sell" dilemma. At the same time, the relationship between manufacturers will also change, and those pesticide manufacturers with many exclusive registration documents will occupy an active position in the new round of market game. Second, agricultural dealers who do not have good products in hand will be out. As a middleman in the agricultural material industry chain, dealers rely on channel resources for negotiation; The next negotiation depends on the manufacturer's resources, and the core of the manufacturer's resources is the product. Once the hands lose competitive good products, agricultural dealers will lose the balance of downstream retailers "killer". The reason why agricultural retailers choose to purchase from dealers, so that dealers earn intermediate profits, is that dealers have exclusive agents of high-quality products. If the day comes when the distributor does not have these products, the retailer will be the first to leave him. So, with the implementation of the "one certificate, one product" policy, how can the next agricultural dealers survive? Before answering this question, we must first think about a question: What do pesticide manufacturers want from agricultural dealers? The answer is simple: What manufacturers want most is sales. Sales are not only the source of manufacturers' profits, but also the embodiment of market position. From the point of view of dealers, what can be done to increase sales? First, the dealer itself should have the strength and the ability to purchase cash; Second, dealers should have their own promotion team to quickly promote the product in the regional market; Third, the downstream terminal of the dealer should be strong and have the ability to promote and sell. Therefore, if agricultural dealers want to avoid being eliminated by the market, they must work hard in these three aspects. 1. Improve your strength Focus on the main business: do not blindly invest and expand, but put all the limited funds into the main business. In recent years, the agricultural materials industry is in a downward period, many agricultural materials dealers choose to layout other industries in order to reduce business risks, but few winners. Therefore, in the market emergency period, agricultural dealers should return to the main business, based on the main business, big main business, because only the industry they are familiar with and good at is the industry with less business risk. Change the business idea: resolutely cut those products that are difficult to increase in volume and occupy more funds in the short term. Agricultural materials dealers should dare to make subtraction on products, quickly return funds by clearing inventory, and then fully activate cash flow, and concentrate funds on a small number of powerful manufacturers and potential products. Embrace new media: Learn to use new media and new tools to empower business growth. Traditional marketing methods are based on costs and expenses, such as production testing, promotion, farmers will need to invest a lot of costs, but because the form is too old-fashioned, the marketing effect is getting worse and worse. New media, by contrast, has a very low or even negligible cost. Therefore, traditional agricultural dealers can take new media as a new business track to achieve new growth in market performance. 2. Cultivate promotion team Pay attention to talent training: In the current team of agricultural materials dealers, talents with technical service ability and promotion ability are still scarce. In order to cope with the changes in the industry, agricultural materials dealers should actively cultivate and introduce compound talents with these two skills. Do a good job of layout in advance: in the past, when there were many pesticide market products and dealers had the initiative, manufacturers did not dare to force dealers to equip promotion teams, so many new product promotion work was basically done by manufacturers' promotion personnel. However, when the product is reduced and the manufacturer regains the active position, the dealer who has no promotion ability will lose the important chips in the game with the manufacturer. Therefore, agricultural dealers should plan ahead and train their own promotion team in advance so that they can respond effectively when the market pattern changes. 3 Reconstruct downstream relationships Although the agricultural materials dealers and retailers are upstream and downstream cooperation, because of the special attributes of the industry, the stickiness between the two is not strong. For example: a county-level dealer has a cooperative relationship with retailers usually in the 100-200, but the real contribution to sales is often not more than 10%, the remaining 90% are very loose buying and selling relations. When dealers have fewer products, that means fewer retailers are working with them. Therefore, the relationship between the two also needs to be reconstructed. Reshaping partnerships: With fewer products, the relationship between distributors and retailers needs to shift from a traditional buyer-seller relationship to a partnership. This relationship is based on mutual goals and common interests to ensure that both parties can stick together and move forward in future market fluctuations. Empower retailers: The future agricultural material distributors can not only provide high-quality product sales services, but also empower the development of retailers, such as market analysis, management guidance, technical support, personnel training, etc., in order to help retailers improve product promotion capabilities and market competitiveness. Strengthen channel management: Next, dealers need to enhance their control over retailers through effective channel management. Agricultural distributors can strengthen their relationships with downstream retailers by offering incentive programs, signing long-term contracts, and providing exclusive products or services.
