Where does the "universal oil" of phenoxymeclozole come from?

2024 03/18

Phenacetoconazole has the good name of "universal oil", the reason is that phenacetoconazole has excellent mixing, in addition to alkaline pesticides can not be mixed, phenacetoconazole can be mixed with almost all acidic or neutral pesticides, not easy to produce drug damage at the same time, but also to achieve the maximum mixing effect.

As an early triazole fungicide, phenoxymeclozole is known for its mild property (most of the triazole fungicides have the effect of inhibiting crop growth), and has a good internal absorption effect, and this internal absorption belongs to the up and down bidirectional conductivity.

Phenoxyconocyclozole is a triazole fungicide developed by Syngenta, which was first listed in France in 1989 and first approved for registration in China in 1999. It has the characteristics of high efficiency, broad spectrum, low toxicity and low dosage, and is an excellent variety with relatively high safety among triazole fungicides. It is widely used in fruit trees, vegetables, cereal crops, horticultural crops, etc., to prevent and control black star disease, leaf spot disease, powdery mildew and so on.
Phenyloconazole is a very excellent fungicide, at present, there are nearly 800 phenyloconazole registration certificates in China, and more than 300 manufacturers, according to different uses, dosage forms are also many. The main dosage forms are 92%, 95%, 97% of the original drug; 10%, 15%, 20%, 30%, 37%, 60% water dispersible granule, 10%, 20%, 25% microemulsion, 5%, 10%, 20%, 25% water emulsion, 3%, 30 g/l suspension seed coating agent, 25%, 250 g/L, 30% cream, 3%, 10%, 25%, 30%, 40% suspension agent, 10%, 12%, 30% wettable powder.
Phenoxyconazole is a broad-spectrum, highly effective fungicide with the following advantages:
1, the bactericidal spectrum is wide: phenoxyconazole has a good control effect on a variety of pathogens, including powdery mildew, black spot, anthrax, leaf blight and so on.
2, strong internal absorption: phenacetoconazole has strong internal absorption, can be absorbed by plants and conducted in the body, thereby protecting plants from pathogens.
3, protection and treatment: phenacetoconazole not only has a protective effect, can prevent the infection of pathogens, but also has a therapeutic effect, can control the development of disease after the infection of pathogens.
4, high efficiency and low toxicity: the bactericidal effect of phenacetoconazole is significant, and the toxicity is low, and the impact on the environment and non-target organisms is small.
5, long residual period: the residual period of phenacetoconazole is longer, which can provide a longer time of protection and reduce the number of application.
6, improve the quality of crops: phenoxyconazole can reduce the damage of diseases to crops, thereby improving the yield and quality of crops.
As a broad spectrum fungicide, phenoxyconazole may have some shortcomings in the use process:
1, the problem of resistance: long-term or unreasonable use of phenacetoconazole may lead to pathogen resistance to it, reducing its control effect. In order to delay the development of resistance, it is recommended to use reasonable rotation of fungicides with different mechanisms of action.
2, environmental residue: phenacetoconazole may have a certain residue in the environment, which may have a certain impact on environmental factors such as soil and water.
3, application restrictions: the use of phenacetoconazole may be subject to some restrictions, such as in some special ecosystems or organic agriculture may not be allowed to use.
4. Impact on non-target organisms: phenacetoconazole may produce certain toxicity to some non-target organisms, such as beneficial insects and aquatic organisms.
In terms of compounding, Fenoxymeclozole can be combined with propionozole, Pyrimetril, carbendazol, methylthiobacillum, fluoxazol, Prometril, hexazolol, mancozol, apromazol, mancozol, amicarb, Propionzin, Pyrazolidin, polyamycin, mesocin, Jingangmycin, tiametrone, thiafuramide, pentazolol, pyrimidine riboside antibiotics, Formetrix, imidacloprid Brominonitrile, thiamethoxam and so on.
The more common types of suspended seed coating are phenyloxazole, phenyloxazole + imidacloprid and phenyloxazole + fluxonitrile + thiamethoxam.
The main registered control objects are wheat root rot, sheath blight, total erosion, loose smut and silvery smut, etc. It can be said that the emergence of phenacetoconazole and related mixed seed coating agents has effectively curbed wheat sheath blight, which has an outbreak trend, and has gradually turned sheath blight, a major disease of wheat, into a non-major disease. So much so that the blight has gradually faded in the minds of farmers.
Phenoxymeclozole and related mixed seed coating agents have not only achieved a very perfect disease prevention performance on wheat, but also played a very important root disease control effect on the prevention and control of food crops such as soybeans, corn, and cash crops such as vegetables and Chinese medicinal materials root diseases (root rot disease, blight disease, sclerotium disease, stem rot disease, wilt disease).
On peanuts, phenacetoconazole mainly prevents leaf spot and web spot.
At the same time, the emergence of granules also makes phenoxenocyclozole a new breakthrough in the root disease control channel. Through the direct contact with soil or plant roots by granules, it not only reduces the application burden of farmers, but also reduces the use cost. At the same time, it can gradually release the drug effect, so as to achieve the effect of lasting disease prevention and treatment.
Phenacetoconazole precautions:

1, can be mixed with most pesticides, fungicides, etc., do not mix with copper-containing agents (copper preparations can reduce its bactericidal ability). When used in combination, the mixing test must be done before application to avoid negative reactions or drug damage.

2, should be used alternately with other pesticides, so as to avoid bacteria resistance to phenacetoconazole.

3. The application time should be early rather than late, and the spraying effect should be best at the early stage of the disease.

4, toxic to fish, do not pollute water.

Note: Due to the occurrence of diseases, insects, grass damage, drug use level, environmental climate is different, the technology used in this paper is for reference only, if you need to practical application, please consider it according to the local situation.
