Fluralin. Also known as Tefli, Flutri, Flulik, etc., the special effect period of weed control is as long as 3-6 months. Currently available in the market are 24%, 48% fluralin emulsion, 5%, 50% Fluralin granules and other dosage forms. Mechanism of weeding. The agent is absorbed by weed seeds in the process of germinating and growing through the soil layer, mainly by the bud sheath of gramineous plants, the hypocotyl of broad-leaved plants, and the cotyledon and young roots. But the stems and leaves after emergence can not absorb. Entering the plant body affects the production or transmission of hormones and leads to death. After fluralin was applied to soil, it gradually decomposed and disappeared due to volatilization, photolysis and microorganisms, among which volatilization and photolysis were the main factors of decomposition. When applied to the surface of the soil, the most rapid loss occurs in the first few hours, and the decomposition of the agent is accelerated by humidity and high temperature. Therefore, after the application of fluralin into the soil, it is necessary to shallow rake the soil to prevent its decomposition and prolong the efficacy period. Fluralin is a selective pre-budding soil treatment agent, effective against grasses and some small-seed broad-leaved weeds. The drug is mainly absorbed in the process of germination and growth of weed seeds through the soil layer, and can not be absorbed by the stems and leaves of weeds after emergence. Therefore, fluralin is ineffective to unearthed weeds.
Weeding area. In the field weeding, fluralin adapt to many crops, mainly used in cotton, food crops, rape, peanut, soybean, carrot, potato, eggplant, pepper, tomato, cabbage, celery and other vegetables weeding. Application method. It is mainly used by toxic soil method or spray method. Mix the soil with a shallow rake immediately after application. The amount should be based on the soil texture, such as when the soil organic matter content is less than 3%, with 48% cream 80-100 ml per mu; When the soil organic matter content is 2%-8%, 125-150 ml of 48% cream is used per mu. Generally, the maximum dosage per mu should not exceed 200 ml, and the amount of medicine used per unit area is too large, which not only wastes the medicine, but also easily causes harm to the crop roots. When soil organic matter content exceeds 8%, it is not appropriate to use fluralin in this soil.
Used in several major crops. 1. Cotton fields. Before sowing, use 48% cream 125-150 ml per mu, 50 kg of water, evenly spray the soil surface, then mix the soil 2-3 cm thick, you can sow after mixing the soil. Mulch cover cotton fields with 48% cream 100-125 ml per mu, put into the soil surface before sowing, and then sow and cover the film, or spray and cover the film after sowing. 2. Vegetable fields. Cruciferous vegetable fields, 3-7 days before sowing, with 48% cream per acre 100-150 ml. Leguminous vegetable fields, after seeding before seedlings, with 48% cream per mu 150-200 ml, on the water spray soil surface, immediately mixed the land 2-3 cm thick. Eggplant, tomato, pepper, cabbage, cauliflower and other transplanted vegetable fields, before the weeds are unearthed after transplantation, use 48% cream 100-150 ml per mu, spray on water, immediately mix soil. 3. Rape, peanut, sesame fields. 3-7 days before sowing, use 48% fluralin emulsion 100-150 ml per acre, 50 kg of water, evenly spray on the soil surface, and then mix the soil. Film peanut field, with 48% fluralin emulsion 75-100 ml per mu, 35-40 kg of water spray, mixed soil 3-5 cm, 5-7 days after sowing, mulching. Sunflower, kenaf, carrot, celery, fennel, beans, etc., can be sown immediately after applying mixed soil. 4. Soybean fields. After the ground is finished, use 48% fluralin emulsion 100-150 ml per mu, 35-40 kg of water, evenly spray the soil surface, and then mix the soil 1-3 cm. In the spring soybean planting area, 5-7 days after application, in the summer soybean planting area in the south, the second day after application can be sown, the amount of medicine per mu can not exceed 200 ml, so as to avoid causing drug damage to soybean roots and drug damage to subsequent crops. 5. Medicinal fields. 7-10 days before sowing, before weeds sprout, spray the topsoil with 48% cream 80-100 ml per mu and 40-50 kg of water. Immediately after spraying, shallow rake the soil 5-7 cm.
Symptoms of drug injury. For example, when excessive use of cotton fields, cotton root growth and development are affected, the main symptoms are coarse tumor formation of cotton taproot, xylem becomes brittle and easy to break, secondary roots are rare, and dead seedlings will appear in the seedling stage when the damage is serious. After the application of fluralin, it has a certain effect on the sorghum and millet of the later crops, especially the sorghum crops are more sensitive to fluralin, and the operation safety should be paid attention to when using, and other herbicides should be used as far as possible.
