Performance PK: Which one is strong for the insecticidal effect of metril salt, fenacil, indocarb, fenacyl hydrazine and lurea?

2023 10/21

With the gradual change of the active ingredients of insecticides, chlorobenzamide gradually began to become the hot spot pursued by various manufacturers, but with the rapid improvement of pest resistance to its effect is also greatly reduced. Some traditional insecticidal active ingredients such as metretinate, fenacil, indocarb, fenacyl hydrazide and pedicuron have become the focus of attention.

1. Methyl-vitamin salt

Emamectin benzoate (EMamectin benzoate) is a new kind of highly efficient semi-synthetic antibiotic insecticide, which is synthesized from the fermentation product abamectin B1. It has the characteristics of ultra-high efficiency, low toxicity (preparation is nearly non-toxic), low residue and no pollution. It is widely used for the control of various pests on vegetables, fruit trees, cotton and other crops. It has a very high activity on the larvae of lepidoptera insects and many other pests, which has both stomach toxicity and touch killing effect, and has no harm to beneficial insects in the process of pest control, which is conducive to the comprehensive control of pests, and expands the insecticidal spectrum and reduces the toxicity to humans and animals.

2. Chlorfenitrile

Chlorfenitrile is a novel pyrrole compound that acts on the mitochondria of insect cells and inhibits the conversion of adenosine diphosphate (ADP) to adenosine triphosphate (ATP) through the function oxidase in insect cells. Adenosine triphosphate stores the energy that cells need to maintain their vital functions. The drug has gastric toxicity and tactile action. It has strong permeability in the leaf surface, has certain internal absorption effect, and has the characteristics of wide insecticidal spectrum, high control effect, long lasting effect and safety. Resistant pests can be controlled.

3. Indocarb

indoxacarb is a kind of broad-spectrum oxadiazine insecticide. By blocking the sodium ion channel in insect nerve cells, the nerve cells lose their function, and it has the effect of touching stomach poison. It can effectively control a variety of pests on crops such as grain, cotton, fruit and vegetables. Indocarb has a unique mechanism of action, which is rapidly transformed into DCJW (N. 2 demethoxycarbonyl metabolite) in insects. DCJW acts on the volt-gated sodium ion channel of the inactivated state of insect nerve cells, irreversely blocks the transmission of nerve impulse in insects, destroys the transmission of nerve impulse, and leads to the movement disorder, inability to eat, paralysis and eventually death of pests.

4. Fenzoylhydrazine

Fenzoylhydrazide is a new non-steroidal insect growth regulator, which causes the insect to die from molting by interfering with the normal development of insects. Fenzoylhydrazide has high insecticidal activity and strong selectivity. It is effective against all lepidoptera larvae, and has special effects against cotton bollworm, cabbage worm, cabbage moth, beetworm and so on. Safer for non-target organisms. It is not irritating to the eyes and skin, has no teratogenic, carcinogenic or mutagenic effect on higher animals, and is very safe to mammals, birds and natural enemies.

5. Pedicuron

Pedicuron is a new generation of substituted urea insecticide. It is mainly used to control the larvae of lepidoptera such as cotton, corn, vegetables and fruit trees. It can also be used as a health drug; It can also be used to prevent and control stinging and sucking mouth parts and pests. By acting on insect larvae and preventing the peeling process, the agent can kill pests, especially against leaf eating caterpillars such as fruit trees, and has a unique killing mechanism against thrips, rust mites and white whitefly, which is suitable for controlling pests resistant to synthetic pyrethrin and organophosphorus pesticides. The long duration of the drug is conducive to reducing the number of doses. It is crop safe and suitable for integrated pest management.

So what will be the comparison of the key indicators of several insecticidal active ingredients such as emavyl salt, fenacil, indocarb, fenacyl hydrazine and pedicuride?
